Product Overview

The SIGLENT SHA851A, a handheld portable spectrum analyzer and cable-and-antenna analyzer, is a powerful and flexible tool for many field and outdoor RF applications. This includes communication engineering, telecom operation and maintenance, radio management, production, education and teaching and some more fields.

Within the frequency range of up to 3.6 GHz, the analyzer delivers many powerful measurements and multiple modes of operation. The spectrum analyzer with the built-in pre-amplifier and the optional, independent signal source and the fast scanning speed and high sensitivity, is ideal for broadcast monitoring, channel power scanning, interference localization,  monitoring wireless power, electromagnetic compatibility, and other functions. 

The cable and antenna test mode with the optional DC bias voltage together with a 1-path-2-port vector network analysis function enable the instrument to measure TDR, VSWR, debug port matching, determine insertion loss , debug power amplifier and locate fault location at cables, etc.

The unit comes with a standard bag and hand strap, so engineers can either hang it on shoulder
